ESAD-SU SUMMER MINI BLOG HOP
Welcome to the ESAD-SU blog hop. This is our very first blog hop with 30 demonstrators participating. You have come from the very talented Tanya Kitto
ESAD-SU is a yahoo group and stands for Extra Special Australian Demonstrators. It is open to Australian and New Zealand Stampin Up demonstrators. If you are an Australian or New Zealand Demonstrator, this may be the group for you to join for fun, inspiration and a great network of demonstrators. Click here to take you to the group page.
I have used the "For Everything" stamp set and the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper from our new Summer Mini catalogue. I just love the vibrant colours in this pack, they are bright and have such a summer feel to them. I have also used the "Circle Scissor Plus" from the new Summer mini to cut the circles. This is a great new tool that Stampin Up have brought out, making cutting circles a breeze.

Fun flowers Faux Metal Elegant Thankyou Bashful blue
This card I used the "faux metal" technique with the fun flowers stamp. My base card is bashful blue and I stamped the background using the fun flowers with versamark,I start off the edge of one corner on the diagonal. It is a great way to do background stamping, as your eye is drawn away from looking for the straight image, so it doesn't matter if you are off a bit.
Card Recipe:
Stamps: Fun flowers, Elegant thank you
Ink: Versamark, riding hood red
paper: bashful blue, more mustard, riding hood red
Accessories: embossing powder, scallop square punch, spiral punch
Great Friend Baja Breeze Ski Slope
My next card was an ESAD-SU sketch challenge.
I used baja breeze for the base card Attach the piece of Ski Slope dsp to whisper white and adhere to front of card.. Using the butterfly from Great Friend, stamp using pacific point onto whisper white. Now using the leaf stamp use the stamp off technique - again using the pacific point, stamping around the edge of the butterfly. Mount onto pink pirouette and pacific point. Attach this layer to front of card. Stamp a greeting from the "oval all" set, onto pink pirouette, punch out using large scallop oval and layer onto wide oval pacific point. Attach to front of card.
Circle Circus Pacific Point Gallery
Hi, thought I might post the cards that I did for my mini catalogue launch. This first card is using Gallery - I stamped on Pacific Point using the whisper white craft ink. I then stamped the images from circle circus using pacific point, taken with teal, tempting turquoise and baja breeze onto whisper white. I punched out using 1 1/4 inch circle punch and mounted those on the centre of the Gallery image. I then filled in the spaces with the small flower using whisper white ink. Then with the smallest stamp I stamped using pacific point to create interesting appeal. I then mounted onto whisper white base card.

Circle circus Pacific Point Seeing Spots
I've been having fun with the "circle circus" stamp set today. I used for the base "pacific point" and for the images, whisper white. cardstock. I stamped the images using taken with teal, bordering blue, tempting turquoise, pacific point, baja breeze. I then used the 1¼ inch circle punch. With the scalloped image, I then punched out using the scallop circle punch. On the base card I then arranged and stuck down my images. In the spaces I stamped the smaller flower using whisper white, and the smallest image using pacific point.
For the greeting I used the "thank you" circle from the Seeing spots stamp set, stamping it inside the circle of dots. I used the stamp a ma jig to line it up perfectly.
Recipe:
Stamp Sets: Circle circus, seeing spots
Ink: whisper white, pacific point, taken with theal, temtping turquoise, baja breeze, bordering blue.

Its Beautiful!! Bandana technique spotlight technique
Here is another Bandana Technique - Splitcoast stampers challenge TLC220. You can view the link here Splitcoast website.
This is a card that I did at my last workshop. This time I combined two techniques, the bandana and the spotlight technique. I firstly rolled "It's Beautiful" Stampin around Jumbo wheel on whisper white, and then on the bottom half of the base card - Pacific Point. I then highlighted the areas of interest on the pacific point image using white gel pen. With the whisper white image, I found my focal point of interest. I then used the 1 1/4 inch circle punch and punched out the flower, then to add dimension, I used the 1 3/8 inch circle punch and punched again where the flower had been. I attached the whisper white to the base card, and centred the flower in the hole provided. I stamped "for you" from "One of a Kind" stamp set on whisper white, and punched out using the word window punch.
Recipe:
Stamp Sets: It's Beautiful jumbo wheel, One of a Kind
Ink: Not quite navy, pacific point
Paper: Pacific Point, whisper white
Accessories: 1 1/4 & 1 3/8 inch circle punch, word window punch, white gel pen, dimensionals.

Eastern Blooms Kiwi Kiss Pumpkin Pie
Apply ink using sponge daubers to the 3 flowers in a row from the Eastern Blooms set. This way you can colour the flowers individually, making them whichever colour you want. Stamp image on whisper white card.
The image on left is kiwi kiss, middle is tempting turquoise and on right is pumpkin pie. These colours go well together. I stamped the greeting from One of a Kind in the bottom right hand corner. I then tied a piece of tempting turquoise ribbon around the middle.
Layer whisper white onto pumpkin pie. On the base card (kiwi kiss) stamp the same flowers using kiwi kiss ink.
Stamp Sets: Eastern Blooms, One of a Kind
Ink: kiwi kiss, pumpkin pie, tempting turquoise
Paper: whisper white, pumpkin pie, kiwi kiss
Accessories: sponge daubers, tempting turquoise grossgrain ribbon
