Belair Creative Cards May 2021

Belair Creative Cards this month used the Artistically Inked stamp set to create our cards this month.

On the first card I stamped the large background stamp on a layer in polished pink and pale papaya.  I then ran the layer through the painted texture embossing folder.  I then incorporated Gilded Leafing on the veins of the embossed creases.  I used a retired 2 way glue pen to brush the edges and gilded the edges of both layers.  The large flower is stamped in polished pink and the small flower is inked in pale papaya, leaves were soft succulent.

The second card is a horizontal easel card.  I got the inspiration from a fellow demonstrator, Kelly Acheson.  You can view her tutorial here.
The pale papaya panel is cut using the scalloped contours dies. The flowers from the Artistically Inked stamp set were stamped then cut out using the Artistic dies.  The intricate flower then was layered on top of the stamped flowers.  The panels underneath were stamped using the same techniques as above on my first card.

Elegantly Said stamp set meets Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks

My card today uses the new Plenty of Patterns decorative masks and I have sponged the background with the blending brushes in pale papaya, polished pink and fresh freesia.  I have then stamped using the stamparatus the swirl pattern from the Elegantly Said stamp set in memento, repeating several times in the same spot until I have a nice black crisp image, then versamark over the top and then added clear embossing powder and heat set.  I have used the elegant tag punch to punch a tag in basic white for the sentiment.  I have also punched an extra tag in fresh freesia and pale papaya and used them as a border at each end of the tag.

Stamp Set:  Elegantly Said
Card:  pale papaya, fresh freesia, basic white
Ink:  pale papaya, polished pink, fresh freesia, memento, versamark
Accessories:  Elegant Tag Punch, clear embossing powder, black baker's twine, Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks
