Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge blog hop. Todays challenge is a colour challenge.
I have started with a basic white base with a layer of basic black cut out using the largest of the scalloped contour dies. My focal point is a layer of basic white and this time I have used the stitched rectangle dies to create this layer. I have then sponged with blending brushes, so saffron, blushing bride and flirty flamingo. The flowers are stamped in memento ink. I have also placed this layer in the coordinating embossing folder, and the flowers have dimension. Sentiment is stamped in memento on the so saffron oval and the scalloped oval is blushing bride.
For todays card I am playing along with Crafty Collaborations CASE A FRIEND Blog Hop and CASING a fellow Australian Demonstrator called Jenny Hayward. She is a very talented and gracious demonstrator and I love her work. You can see her card that I have CASED here.
My card today features the Rainbow of Happiness bundle. My base is basic white cardstock with a layer of Pattern Party DSP (host). The scalloped edge is poppy parade. The rainbow colours match the colours in the dsp and are flirty flamingo, crushed curry, granny apple green and pear pizzazz.
Welcome crafty friends, today I am participating in my first Crafty Challenge blog hop from Crafty Collaborations which is a team of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world. This challenge uses a sketch, which makes it so much easier for creating when and helps get the creative juices flowing.
My project features products from the Heart & Home suite. For my base I have used the Heart & Home Memories & More cards & envelopes. The card base is very stylish with blue stripes and the envelope matches perfectly with the stripes on the inside. My layers, I have used the Heart & Home Memories & More card pack. This pack is great for adding layers to projects and compliments the card bases perfectly. I stamped the sentiment from the Blessings of Home stamp set in night of navy and added that to the top layer. The strip underneath is one of the cards which is basic white with a gray woodgrain pattern. I have added some polished dots to highlight the pattern on the card layer.
For my focal point, I have used a piece of night of navy cardstock and die cut the medallion from the Encircled in Beauty dies. Using the same die, I then cut a circle out of basic white and added a sticker from the Heart & Home Memories & More card pack.
