Sail Away
This is the card I made for my nephew, Craig's 18th birthday. I thought it would be a good card to do at Bel Air Baptist Church's Creative Card Group tonight (10th May at 7.30) and Friday morning (13th May) at my watercolouring technique class. Come and see the different ways that you can do watercolouring. On this card I have used blender pens and the stamp pads.
I will also demonstrate with the Wonder Watercoloring Crayons as well as the Pastels.
It's hard to see but for the sails I have used sahara sand and shaded with crumb cake, the water is marina mist and the yacht, early expresso.
Pop back tomorrow to see the 2nd card that we made.
Card Recipe:
Stamp Set: Sail away, bring on the cake
Card: Old olive, marina mist, whisper white
Ink: basic gray, marina mist, sahara sand, crumb cake, old olive, early expresso
Accessories: big shot, square lattice embossing folder, blender pens

Bel Air Creative Card Group Retiform Technique class
Last Thursday night at Bel Air Baptist Church Creative Card Group we played with the retiform technique. These are the cards that I demonstrated.
The first card is using Stamp Set Ocean Commotiion. I stamped the images on whisper white cardstock. I used not quite navy for my focal image, then I used marina mist around the edges and lastly I sponged with certainly celery in the middle. If you like this technique, you can find it on Splitc
The second card I have used gloss card and Vintage Vogue stamp set with Early expresso ink for my focal image and cajun craze around the edges and tangerine tango in the centre. The greetings stamp is from "Bring on the Cake" stamp set from the Autumn-Winter mini (page 13).
The last card I have made is using artistic etching with the Eiffel Tower in concord crush and around the outside in bashful blue and the centre sponged in certainly celery.
I am really happy the way these cards turned out. Hope you like them too.
