"Hello Blossom" Fundraiser for Phill and Bek Pickering

Hi, I thought I would share the projects that I made for a fundraiser I did at my church for a young couple who are going to Zimbabwe to do some mission work. I decided to use the "Hello Blossom" stamp from the Stampin' Up! Autumn/Winter catalogue.

The first project I used elegant eggplant for my base layered with whisper white. I stamped the flowers along the bottom edge of the page using old olive. I then used the Sweet Buttons embosslits from the Autumn/Winter mini with pretty in pink, pink pirouette, perfect plum, tangerine tango and rose red. I have embellished the card with some melon mambo ribbon (retired) and the butterfly wings embosslit. My greeting is from curly cute stamp set.

My second card (and I think my favourite) is on a base of rich razzleberry with a layer of perfect plum and a scalloped edge of elegant eggplant. and my image is stamped on whisper white. I measured my whisper white layer to measure 2 1/2" x 3 3/4" and then used the 1 1/4" square punch to punch out my grid. the scalloped eggplant is using Stampin' Up!'s new Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die also available in the Autumn/Winter mini catty. My image is stamped in rich razzleberry with matching ribbon trim.

My third card is using riding hood red as a base. I used my markers to colour in my flowers, being careful to omit the letters in the centres of the flowers. I then lined up my card in my "petals a plenty" textured impressions embossing folder and through the bigshot.

My last card is on a base of riding hood red again, with the stamped image in riding hood red on the wisper white. I then have used the new "Framed Tulips" textured impresions embossing folder on the top edge above the stamped image and below the stamped image. Hint:- I used some dotto to hold the card in place in the embossing folder.

I hope you enjoy these projects, see you again soon.
