Bel Air Baptist Church Friday class Friday 9th March

Here are our two projects for next Friday's class.  Julie will be taking the class for me this month, as I will be at work.  
Both our projects today use the Elements of Style SAB set.  Our first project is also using the Everyday Enchantment DSP.  I have scored the dsp at 2cm and then folded it over to give a two tone effect.

Bel Air Baptist Church Creative Card Group - Thursday 23rd February class

Here are the 2 projects we made at our last Creative Card Class at Bel Air Baptist Church Card Making Class.

Our first project was using the Everyday Enchantment DSP from this year's sale.a.bration promotion.  We used the designer frames textured impressions folder for the oval, inking over the embossed area.  We then stamped on a separate piece of very vanilla cardstock an image from the fresh vintage stamp set,firstly in pool party and then used sponge daubers to apply the poppy parade.  I then punched it out using large oval punch and placed image in the centre of the designer frame.  We have also embossed a piece of wild wasabi card stock using "elegant lines" textured impressions folder.

Accessories:  Everyday enchantment ribbon pack, designer frames textured impressions folder, elegant lines textured impressions folder, sponge daubers
Our second project I CASED the SU demonstrator's magazine "Impressions" using Triple Treat flower.

Card:  bashful blue, wild wasabi, whisper white
Ink:  perfect plum, baja breeze, wild wasabi
Accessories:  fancy flower, 5 petal flower punch, circle punch, perfect polka dots textured implressions folder

Fresh Vintage Stair Step Card


My friend Robyn taught me recently the Stair Step Fold Card.  She found the tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers here.  It's a fun card to make and not really complicated at all.  Thanks Robyn.

Flower Garden all spiced up

Here is one of the cards that I demonstrated at my last workshop.

It uses the flower garden textured impressions folder and the spice cake dsp from the Summer mini catalogue

To highlight the image I have used a sponge dauber on the raised embossed image.  To soften the image also, I have sponged around the edges of the very vanilla layer and the greeting.

Stamp Set Used:  perfect punches
Ink:  soft suede, pool party, more mustard.
Papers:  Early Expresso, Very Vanilla, spice cake dsp
Accessories:  large oval punch, flower garden textured impressions folder, bigshot machine, sponge daubers

Urban Garden Layout Sketch Savvy # 72
