Inlaid Technique using Circle Celebrations and hammered metal 3D embossing folder

The purpose of my post is to share the Inlaid technique using circle celebration and hammered metal 3D embossing folder.  A great way of showing off Stampin’ Up embossing folders.  This technique was very popular with the retired Square Lattice embossing folder but looks great with the hammered metal 3D embossing folder.

Base card pretty peacock, layer seaside spray. Ink used Bermuda Bay, pacific point, pool party, seaside spray, pretty peacock, balmy blue, coastal cabana. Sentiment is Bermuda Bay using the birthday chick dies

This is such a fun technique.  I firstly lined up my circle punches on my stamparatus randomly, then using balmy blue, pool party, pacific point, misty moonlight, pretty peacock and night of navy, I "smacked" the pads on to the stamps with a light quick tap.  Each stamp had a part transfer of colour, and as  I repeated this with each colour,  until the stamps were completely covered and  had a blended mottly effect.  You could also apply colour using sponge daubers, but it's much more fun "smacking" the colour onto the stamp.
