Well Written Dies meets Basic Pattern Decorative Masks

Todays card features some retiring product from the 2020-2021 Stampin' Up Annual Catalogue.
The base card is balmy blue with a layer of basic black and whisper white.  I have sponged the filigree pattern from the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks using our new blending brushes with pool party, balmy blue and seaside spray inks.  The leaf die is from Well Written and the leaves are coloured using the dark balmy blue blends.  This makes the leaves "pop".   Sentiment is stamped in memento and is from Here's a Card stamp set.

Sailing Home CASE

My card today is a CASE from the very talented Narelle Farrugia. I’ve admired her work for ages and love her work and style.  It has a unique flair that is just beautiful. You can see her card here

Base card is whisper white. Firstly stamp the lighthouse from sailing home in basic gray. Using a sponge dauber, ink up with versamark and then pool party around the top of the lighthouse. Then again use versamark and now ink up with seaside spray and sponge around the bottom half of the lighthouse. The versamark gives a softer look and blends easily.

Now using water painter with just water blend the lighthouse using only the already stamped image.

Stamp the happy from the family party stamp set on a thin strip of whisper white and trim. Cut Birthday from night of navy from well written dies.

From the smooth sailing dies cut the ships wheel from night of navy, stamp the anchor in basic gray. Layer both on front of card. Stamp the seagulls using night of navy.

My second card is very similar, but instead of using sailing home stamp set I have used the High Tide.
