Stitched leaves dies - Inlaid technique AUC March 2021

This month at the Adamstown Uniting Church card-making group we worked with embossing folders.  My technique was to teach the inlaid technique.  The Inlaid technique was very popular when we had the square lattice die a few years back.  It was in our 2011 Annual Catalogue and is still one of my favourite embossing folders.  For my card I decided to use the Stitched Leaves dies and show the difference between the square lattice and tasteful textures 3D embossing folder.

The first card is using the square lattice embossing folder which gives a very deep imprint

My second card uses the tasteful textures 3D embossing folder, and is a softer look.  The leaves are sponged with their corresponding colours and then glued on to the whisper white layer.
