Nature's Prints case-ing Tuesday Sketch #358 meets Paper Craft Crew Challenge #472

 My card today brings two challenges together.  CASE-ing Tuesday Sketches and Paper Craft Crew Challenge.

I love challenges as they make deciding what to make easy.  I love the simplicity of the sketch and the Tic Tac Toe challenge - polka dots, bling and circles.  The polka dots on my card were created using the new dots and spots dies, making a spotty background easy.  The bling is also a new product called glossy dots assortment.  The colours are so vibrant and I have used the Tahitian Tide to complement the base card and the stamped image.  To add extra bling, I have watercoloured over the leaf image with the wink of Stella pen giving the leaf a nice shine.  Sentiment is stamped using orchid oasis.

Tracy's Sunday Challenge - Ink Smooshing

Todays card feature's a technique that I just love and it's called Ink Smooshing and feature's the new Tahitian Tide, Orchid Oasis and Starry Sky inks from Stampin' Up!  The Ink Smooshing technique was on Tracy's Bish's Sunday Challenge. You can see her post here.

I did my Ink Smooshing slightly different to Tracy, I applied the ink pad direct to a large clear block and then sprayed with liquid hand sanitiser.  The colours then move creating unique patterns.  I then lay my die cut basic white panel that I had cut out with the stitched rectangles onto the block, transferring the ink to the cardboard.  My top layer is a die cut frame called Fancy Frames and is cut out using Starry Sky cardstock.  The frame fits nicely layered on top of the stitched rectangle die.
