Telescoping Cards Part 1

Here are the cards we made at Bel Air Baptist Church Creative Card Group for the Thursday class in September.

We tried the Telescoping technique. This is where you have 3 varied sizes of circles and place them on top of each other in size order. You use plain circles or scalloped, plain cardstock or designer series paper (dsp). You can even use square shapes.

With the main image, I have used the rock n roll technique.

There are many tutorials on the net. The one I found helpful was from Dawn Olchefske.

Bring on the Cake meets Perfect Pennants

These two cards use Petite Pennants builder punch for the icecream cone. The top is the cupcake builder punc. Layers are from the perfect pennants die. I stamped happy birthday from"bring on the cake" stamp set, colouring in with the InColor Markers. On the first card the medallion and icecream have been emossed with the square lattice textured impressions folder. The second card I left the medallion and icecream plain.
