Farewell to "a rose is a rose"

Garden whimsy

This is a bright cheery card that I cased from Joanna Wassens. Her card is here.

This too is a sweet card. It uses the chalk popping technique.

Bloom Away

These two first cards are the same layout just with a different base. The first card has a really rust base and the second card has a very vanilla base. This last card has been added later, it's on a base of rose red with a layer of sage shadow. The image has been watercoloured. The sage shadow layer has been run through the square lattice textured impressions folder - this is called inlaid technique.

Bloomin' With Beauty on vellum

This was a fun technique to do. Base card is pretty in pink with a layer of whisper white. Stamp 3 images of the carnation flower on the vellum using versamark watermark. Emboss with white embossing powder. Use a blender pen the Stampin Pastels to colour in the flowers. Position the vellum over a layer of whisper white, noting where to place the "heartfelt" stamped image and the "birthday celebrations" stamped image.

Very Vintage

Card: Whisper white

Ink: whisper white, tempting turquoise, taken with teal, yo yo yellow

Accessories; Blender Pen, 1" circle punch

Circle Circus Case

For this card I CASED a layout from Kari Hughes. I used brocade blue as my base card, really rust for the band across the middle topped with a strip of chocolate chip. I stamped the bubble stamp in the bottom half of the brocade blue. I also stamped the medallion in brocade blue up the top left hand corner. I then restamped the same image in really rust and chocolate chip on whisper white. I punched out with 3/4" circle punch and 1 1/4 circle punch layering ontop of image stamped on card. I then stamped on strip of chocolate chip.
